Abby and Joey tied the knot at Furman University’s Daniel Chapel in Greenville, SC, in March, and no detail was overlooked.

Joey popped the question the day they closed on their first home together. Swoon! With keys in hand, they arrived at the new house to celebrate the occasion. To Abby’s surprise, that wasn’t the only thing they would end up celebrating that day.

Abby’s vision for her wedding dress was simple and sophisticated with minimal beading and sequins. She found that in her gorgeous lace Stella York gown. She completed the look with a family veil that had been worn by her cousins — the perfect something borrowed.

Her favorite moment of her wedding day was getting ready with friends and family and also seeing Joey for the first look. “I was so against a first look leading up to the day but was so pleased that we did it in the end,” said Abby.

Having a wedding planner and a videographer is what Abby considers her two best decisions when planning her wedding. She said, “For all of those favorite moments from the day that may be a blur, the video captured all of our special memories.”
